2016 Reading List

HOWDY, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Just checking in, after a long dry spell.  How are YOU doing?  I'm doing very well, and continuing to stay incredibly busy.

I am a person who absolutely loves to read, but rarely has time to sit down and enjoy a good book.  When trying to figure out how to fit reading into my schedule a few years ago, I realized that I have plenty of available time during my daily drive to work & back, as well as during occasional drives to the city for doctor's appointments, etc.

With that in mind, I started "reading" audio books found at the local library.  It has been several years now, and I'm still enjoying this daily habit.  Have YOU ever tried audio books?  If so, do you like them?

I like them a lot, but I sure miss being able to flip back a few pages to review something I may have forgotten, or that I can't quite put together in my mind.  However, audio books are much better than NO books, so I'm definitely hooked.

I still greatly prefer a good old-fashioned hold-it-in-my-hands-and-turn-the-actual-pages type book, and I do squeeze in a few of those every year (I think I managed 7 last year) as well.  I'm hoping to increase that to at least one a month in 2017.  We'll see how that goes.  ☺

Anyway...just to document what I've read (mostly so I can remember in the future), I decided to post my 2016 Reading List here.  Have you read any of these?  If so, please let me know what you thought, and feel free to add your recommendations for my future reading!

I wish each of you a wonderful 2017 filled with lots of good books, love & laughter.
Blessings,
